Women NSW: This week is NSW National Aboriginal Languages Week (20th – 27th October). Language is sacred and con­nected to Country and culture. It brings to­gether generations and ties spirituality and identity. NSW is home to approximately 35 Aboriginal Languages, many of which cross borders into other States. Of the top ten Aboriginal Languages being renewed (in terms of speaker numbers), six are lan­guages used in NSW. Interested to learn more?
